Youngblood, Tyler & Associates, P.C. is currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer I / II (Land Development) to join our Mechanicsville, VA office.
Salary Range: $58,000 – $65,000
Actual salary will be based on skills & experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
- Perform engineering site plan and subdivision design using relevant software and Civil 3D technology
- Complete engineering, stormwater, drainage & utility calculations for construction plans in accordance with applicable standards
- Assist senior engineering staff with plan approvals
- Assist senior engineering staff with project management
- Complete engineering feasibility studies
- Communicate with client and local government and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff
Required Education, Skills, & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related degree
- Minimum of one year experience in Civil Engineering Land Development
- Working knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D software
- EIT preferred
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
