We worked closely with Henrico County and HHHunt Corporation with their River Mill Development to design Woodman Road from its terminus at Greenwood Road to Jeb Stuart Parkway at Route 1. This 5 phase design included approximate 7,000 feet of public road, with multiple culvert crossings, storm sewer, multi-use paths, utilities and entrances to a future County park. A large drainage crossing consisting of 102 feet of 14’x14’ box culvert provided a critical connection to the existing road. The project was designed for 2 lanes with planning for 2 additional future lanes if ever deemed necessary. This project demonstrated our ability and know-how on coordination with homeowners, power companies and others.
